The complex notes and nuances of whiskies make food pairing a tad difficult. More so, if we’re talking about Chinese cuisine, where flavours can range from the very subtle to the very fiery. So it’ll be interesting to see what Whisky Butler and Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant bring to the table at their food and whisky pairing event.
The kitchen of Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant is helmed by Chef Eric Chan, who 25 years of culinary experience working at some of the top restaurants in Asia. So in essence, his creations should be top-notch.
Benjamin Tan is somebody whom we featured in the inaugural issue of Cask & Drams. Most certainly, the founder of Whisky Butler knows a thing or two about whiskies.
