UberEats to Deliver Drinks

UberEats to Deliver Drinks
March 10, 2017 Jackie Teo

UberEATS hardly needs any introduction. Quite simply, the food delivery service is a godsend for lazy time-strapped individuals. From 12 March onward, you can get satiated AND inebriated without taking a single step out of your home as UberEATS will also be delivering cocktails.

The campaign is called #letscocktail and it caters for various occasions.

You can choose to get pre-prepared, bottled cocktails; just twist open the cap and pour the contents into a glass of ice. No fuss and 100 per cent idiot-proof. We tried the Coffee Negroni concocted by Potato Head Folk and it was delicious.

The Pink Kimono kit from Red Tail.

If you are willing to think and move a little more, you can get bespoke cocktail kits. The components are packed in the right proportions and the ingredients as well as garnishes are conveniently vacuum packed. Just follow the steps and you’ll get a ‘restaurant quality’ cocktail.

Apart from Potato Head Folk, participating outlets for pre-prepared cocktails and kits also include Highball, Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall, Tess Bar, The Library, Bitters & Love and Cache at Izy.

Finally, #letscocktail also delivers bottles of spirits and mixers – cocktails done the uncomplicated, ‘old school’ way. A bottle of gin and a few cans of tonic can go a really long way.

Cocktails can be ordered via the UberEATS app. So go check it out.

Contest

To celebrate the launch of #letscocktail, Diageo and UberEATS will be offering six lucky customers a bespoke cocktail experience in their own homes, hosted by a World Class bartender.

To take part, just order through the #letscocktail banner on the UberEATS app. The banner will be available from 12:00PM and 1:00PM on Sunday, 12 March 2017. The first six consumers to successfully complete their orders will win the ‘#letscocktail’ experience for up to 12 people, delivered by UberEATS to their homes. More information and full terms and conditions can be found here.
