Those of you who have been to the Wines and Spirits Duplex at Terminal will definitely agree that it is by far, the best amenity at Changi Airport. You get to learn more about the brands on display and enjoy an incredible variety of whiskies, all for free. Good news is, now, you don’t have to make a special trip to T3 to experience the DFS Duplex; another one at T2 has just been launched.
And in conjunction with the launch, there will be an epic, seven-week long Whiskey Festival that lasts till 10 September!
Apart from straight-up drams (insist on tasting the 31-year-old Craigellachie at the bar), three cocktails specially put together for the festival will be served every day at the Duplexs’ bars. Blood and Sand, featuring Johnnie Walker Island Green Scotch whisky; Old Fashioned, featuring Maker’s Mark bourbon and Japan’s ubiquitous Highball, featuring The Chita Japanese whisky.
Some of whisky’s biggest names will also be making an appearance at Changi Airport. Brand ambassadors and trainers will be holding masterclasses at the duplexes; you’ll get to understand the brand more, learn about the differences between each expression and the subtle nuances of whisky making. Most definitely, it’ll be a great learning experience for both beginners and seasoned drinkers.
