Wine-themed festivals are dime a dozen these days, but surely, none are as big as Savour Wines 2016 that is happening from 9-11 September at Bayfront Avenue, next to the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Centre.

Besides, we’re talking about 400 labels of wine, as well as 200 types of cheese and 19 different selections of live oysters. This, by itself should keep the wine connoisseur satiated in more ways than one.

Other activities at Savour Wines 2016 include masterclasses (which are FOC, so be there early to secure your spots) and L’Espace Martell, for cocktails inspired by the celebrated cognac.

There’s also the second semi-finals of the DBS Live Your Dream initiative, an innovative culinary platform for emerging home-grown chefs. Chefs from The Study, Stellar at 1-Altitude, Restaurant Ember, Bird Bird, Mitzo, Three Buns, Angela May Food Chapters, The East Bureau and The Rabbit Stash will be vying for a spot at the Grand Finals, to be held at Savour Christmas in November. You’ll get a chance to taste their creations and vote for your favourites.

This event is free for all. Although, you’ll need to pay for entry to the wine market.

It’ll be $15 for 10 wine tastings or $20 for 20 wine tastings. Every pre-purchase of Wine Tasting Cards comes with a limited edition SAVOUR Wines wine glass. During the event, both Wine Tasting Cards (10 tastings) and limited edition glassware will be sold at $10 each. Every session will only allow a maximum of 700 people in the Wine Market, so secure a spot and purchase those cards early.
