The Glenrothes hosted an exclusive dinner and took the opportunity to introduce its rare bottling, The Glenrothes Single Cask 1968.

This event was held last year at Italian fine-dining restaurant Buona Terra at Chateau tcc, where Chef Denis Lucchi presented a five-course dinner that was put together specifically to complement the nuances and profile of The Glenrothes whiskies. The guests also had the opportunity of having Ronnie Cox, Brands Heritage Director and Global Ambassador for The Glenrothes, to present The Glenrothes Single Cask 1968.

As its name would suggest, The Glenrothes Single Cask 1968 was distilled and put into second-fill hogshead cask in 1968. The contents from Cask #13507 was bottled in 2013. It yielded 145 bottles, at 41.9% ABV.
